About Us
Built by Owners. Designed for Operators.
Trove Property Management was founded by experienced investors who understand the challenges of owning and operating real estate. Our mission is to bring clarity, efficiency, and profitability to undervalued assets while maintaining an owner-first mindset.
Trove Property Management
Founded under the Hinze Capital umbrella, Trove Property Management emerged from years of operational experience across a $200M portfolio. We built systems to scale — now we offer those systems to other owners who expect more from their management partners.
Our Story: Rod Hinze founded Hinze Capital by acquiring undervalued storage facilities. He leveraged technology and cost-saving strategies to maximize value, achieving remarkable success in optimizing operations. This led to the firm’s expansion into new asset classes, always driven by innovation and a commitment to excellence. Today, Hinze Capital continues to grow, identifying untapped potential across the real estate and alternative investment landscape.

Jake holds a Master of Accountancy with an emphasis in Data Analytics from Brigham Young University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Outside of work, he is passionate about fishing and spending time in nature. On weekends, you can find him at the Texas Rangers’ ballpark, cheering on his wife, Bre, a member of the Texas Rangers dance team, where she performed throughout the team’s historic 2023 World Series-winning season.
